Strings are at the heart of the orchestra. Initially, I thought of a course using each section of the orchestra but it would have quickly become overwhelming for the beginner. Instead, like many orchestration books and courses, I decided to start with strings and focus solely on them. There is already a lot of ground to cover!

Still, the concepts that you will learn in this course translate very well to the other sections! So, it may be titled Strings but it serves mostly as a practical foundation for these concepts.

At the moment, I am working on continuing this series, and other courses focusing on the other sections of the orchestra are in the works.

With that said, even if it's "only strings", you will see that there is already plenty to keep us busy in here!
